Why MIQAS and Ads Manager can differ
Comparing two dashboards is healthy. When they disagree, one of four mechanical reasons almost always explains it.
1. Sync timing
MIQAS pulls spend from Meta every few minutes; Meta's own reporting also settles over the hour. A freshly running campaign can differ by a few minutes of spend.
2. Attribution windows
Meta credits a conversion to the day of the ad click, not the day of the purchase. MIQAS shows the order on the day it happened. Same order, two honest dates.
3. View-through conversions
Meta counts people who saw an ad, never clicked, and bought. First-party tracking cannot see a view, so Meta's campaign totals can be higher.
4. Timezone and currency
MIQAS shows everything in your workspace timezone and currency; Ads Manager uses the ad account's settings. A day boundary or a billing currency difference shifts numbers between days, never in total. MIQAS converts spend at exact pegged rates so totals reconcile.
