Tracking live in 15 minutes, without a developer
Short answer: you do not need a developer, and you do not need to install an SDK in your store. You need one line in the store, keys you copy from your own ad accounts, and a test that proves the numbers are moving. Realistically, about fifteen minutes for your first channel.
The evidence this is a real problem
On Saudi freelance marketplaces there are paid, public job postings titled, word for word: “solve the problem of linking the pixel in ads”, and “wanted: ad tracking expert and pixel setup for ad platforms”. A third comes from a Salla store owner asking for “Snapchat pixel and Snapchat API connection for COMPLETE PURCHASE”. A fourth asks for a fix to conversion tracking on a Salla store with TikTok Ads, wanted within two hours.
A paid job posting is more honest than any survey. When a store owner pays money for something, they are genuinely stuck on it.
Why it gets harder than it should be
- Every platform has its own way. Meta wants a pixel ID and a Conversions API token. TikTok wants an ID and an Events API token. Snapchat wants an ID and a long-lived token. Google wants a measurement ID and a protocol secret. You do this four times across four dashboards, and it starts to feel bigger than it is.
- Platform docs explain installation, not outcome. The official Salla and Zid guides walk you through installing the pixel step by step, and say nothing about what to do when the numbers disagree later. You finish setup confident you did it right, and the number comes out wrong a month later.
- There is no confirmation step. Most people install and walk away without checking that a purchase event actually arrived. The first time they discover a fault is after a month of spend.
The right order
- 1. One line in the store.A single script placed in your store template with a key belonging to your workspace. Not a plugin, not an SDK, not an edit to your store’s code. From that moment, visits and ad click identifiers start being captured.
- 2. Copy the keys from your own accounts. Open your ad account, copy the token, paste it. No approval queues and no access requests.
- 3. Connect the order source.Salla, Zid, Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento. The goal is that the order arrives with its value, its currency and its ID, because an order that arrives without a value blinds the platform’s algorithm.
- 4. Test before you spend a riyal. Send a one riyal test purchase and watch whether it arrives. This step is the difference between a setup that is correct and a setup you assume is correct.
Where MIQAS comes in
MIQAS is built around exactly that order. One script carrying your workspace key, paste-in tokens for all five platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google with GA4, and X), direct connection for order sources, and a test button that fires a one riyal purchase you verify in the same moment.
Each platform has its own written steps inside the dashboard, so you are not opening five guides in five tabs. And if you would rather not do it yourself, assisted setup is available as a one-time fee starting at SAR 99.
What genuinely needs no developer, and what might
To be straight with you: most of the setup needs no developer. The line goes in from your store dashboard, the keys are copy and paste, the sources connect with a click.
The one part that can need a technical person is preventing double counting between the browser and the server on some stores, because it needs a small snippet placed on the order confirmation page. We give you that snippet ready-made for Shopify, Salla and Zid, but sometimes you want someone to put it in the right place.
Common questions
I already have a pixel plugin installed. Should I remove it? Do not remove anything until you have confirmed the replacement works. Run both for a day, compare, then decide.
My store is on a platform you did not list. There is file upload and a generic connection by webhook or API. The route exists, it is just not as fast as a direct connector.
How long before I see real numbers?Visits start immediately. Judging a channel’s performance needs enough data, and that depends on your order volume rather than your setup speed.
Setup is not a project. But it is worth doing properly once, and confirming, instead of discovering the fault a month into your spend.
